We are an independent Baptist Church and are unaffiliated with any Baptist Associations. Grace Baptist Church holds the historical belief that the Bible is the only authority for belief and practice.

OUR BELIEFS

  • The Bible is the infallible Word of God, and is the only authority for all conduct and practice both for individuals and as a church body.
  • Every believer has equal, direct, and personal access to God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and is eternally secure as a child of His.
  • The deity of Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, and victorious resurrection, which we celebrate every Sunday!
  • The local church is to be an independent, self-governing group of immersed believers committed to following the word of God.
  • The Lord's Supper and Baptism are memorials and testimonies of our love and loyalty to Jesus Christ as opposed to some way to earn merit for salvation.
  • Everything we do must be done through the power of the Holy Spirit and that in and of ourselves, we can do nothing.
  • That the next event on God's timetable is the return of Jesus Christ to take all believers, dead and alive, to be with Him before He comes in judgment of all nations.

OUR MESSAGE

  • Realize you are a sinner and have broken God's law.
-Romans 3.23 - "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
  • Realize sin bears a penalty.
-Romans 6.23 - "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
  • Realize God loves you and has provided the only way of forgiveness through His son Jesus Christ.
-John 3.16 - "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
  • Personally call upon the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive your sin and save you.
-Romans 10.13 - "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

OUR GOALS

  • To guide each person to forgiveness of sin through personal faith in Jesus Christ alone
    -Ephesians 2.8-9
  • To build Christ's character in individuals, in marriages and in families so that we will be above reproach and an example of the Christian faith
    -Matthew 5.16
  • To teach every man how to delight in and meet the needs of his wife with the same sacrificial love that Christ has for us
    -Ephesians 5.25
  • To teach every wife how to love her husband and children, how to be pure, how to manage her home, and how to complete her own husband so that the Christian faith cannot be spoken against by those who know them.
    -Titus 2.4-5
  • To turn the heart of every father to his children in order to teach them Scriptural principals on how to be successful persons, partners, and parents
    -Malachi 4.6
  • To help each believer to know God's special purpose for his life and assist him in exercising the purpose, to the edifying of others -Ephesians 4.12
  • To demonstrate our love to God and loyalty to each other by giving only a good report of each other unless we follow Matthew 18 in the Spirit of restoration rather than exposing
    -Galatians 6.1
  • To actively carry out the command of Christ to tell those we come in contact with of His great love and salvation.
    -Mark 16.15
